Manual planning became a bottleneck

Elektro Loeters is growing fast, particularly due to its webshop, and the number of home deliveries continues to rise every year. “We plan dozens of deliveries every day, and during busy periods this can easily exceed a hundred locations per day,” says Luk Loeters, General Manager. “Previously, everything was done manually using Google Maps. One planner was responsible for scheduling and tracking all deliveries. It was fantastic work, but at some point, it simply became unsustainable.”

Planning relied entirely on the knowledge and experience of a single person. Address errors, last-minute orders, and time pressure made it a complex task. That’s why Luk, together with his planner, looked for a more efficient and scalable solution and found Movetex.
