Scheduling at Cibor is complex: technicians start from home, possess different skills and specialized equipment, and clients often request specific time slots or urgent interventions. Additionally, absences due to sickness or leave constantly affect planning. Previously, planners had to manually search for available technicians and propose options based on postal codes. If the first option didn’t fit, the process had to start over. For new planners, this was nearly impossible to execute quickly and accurately.
Movetex now supports the entire process. With a single click, planners receive the best suggestions based on skills, urgency, distance, and working hours. Even less experienced planners can quickly and accurately propose assignments to clients without geographic knowledge or manual calculations.
Smart algorithms and continuous optimization
Movetex is fully integrated with Cibor’s custom ERP. Assignments are created in the ERP, after which Movetex automatically:
Suggests the most efficient technician and date while the planner is on the phone with the client
Fills gaps in the schedule with the best-placed open assignments
Performs daily re-optimizations to further reduce travel distance and time
Sends planning data back to the ERP for seamless communication, execution, and billing
Thanks to this dynamic approach, Cibor no longer pins assignments to three fixed time blocks. The schedule remains flexible and is continuously optimized.
Experienced planners still retain the ability to plan manually, with clear warnings when limits are exceeded.
