How COPRO strives for Service Excellence using Movetex smart scheduling

COPRO is an independent certification body responsible for the inspection and certification of construction products in the road and infrastructure sector. COPRO is also responsible for the certification of asbestos inventory experts as an additional task to contribute to an asbestos-free Flanders by 2040. Indeed, since November 2022, an asbestos certificate has been mandatory for the sale of homes built before 2001, and COPRO auditors are responsible for the quality assurance of the experts who issue these certificates.

Challenge

Movetex faces a challenge with their client COPRO: The certified asbestos experts are regularly audited by a COPRO auditor. Scheduling these audits is complex because the affiliated asbestos experts are spread all over Flanders, and in addition, the priority of each audit must be taken into account. Thus, the planner must be able to deploy the auditors efficiently, with the goal of bundling the site visits and minimizing mileage and waiting times. Currently, the auditors create their own schedules, which is a time-consuming process.

Solution

Movetex offers a solution to their customer COPRO in which all assignments are loaded into Movetex daily via Excel. The planning of COPRO auditors is not done in bulk; instead, Movetex supports the COPRO planner with user-friendly tools during the planning process. Thanks to a clear overview, the planning for each COPRO auditor is built up individually and step by step into an efficient route, taking into account all requirements. After finalizing the planning, Movetex takes care of the communication with the asbestos expert about the planned audit. The COPRO auditor can consult his planning and perform his tasks efficiently using the Movetex Mobile Workforce App.
